Suegha,

Rock of ages cleft for me,

Let me hide myself in thee!

Do you know that one?

Suegha,

Rock of ages cleft for me,

Let me hide myself in thee!

Do you know that one?

Chownah

Yes I do and I must say it's a corking tune!

Chownah, You are wierd.

Chownah, You are wierd.

I think I am having a deja vu, over and over again!

Or are you not familiar with the sayings, 'it's a corker' or 'it's a corking whatever'? Well known British sayings of praise!

The only reference I have to "corker" is from a song that goes:

My gals a corker,

She's a New Yorker,

I buy her everything to keep her in style.

She's got a pair of hips,

just like two battle ships.

Hey boys, that's where my money goes.

etc.

I think this song was in the american musical South Pacific....not sure though.

They obviously have the same meaning in mind. Cork, however, is not a rock, it's a wood!

Cork is not a rock...wooden you no it.

It does seem like they have the same meaning in mind but on the other hand, Chang_paarp might argue that his gal in New York has a career inserting stoppers into wine bottles. The truth is always elusive.

Rocky and Bulwinkle

aka Rocket J. Squirrel and Bulwinkle T. Moose

When does a stone become a rock? Or should that be, when does a rock become a stone?

When does a stone become a rock? Or should that be, when does a rock become a stone?

When it's name is Mick or Keith or Charlie, then a rock(er) can become a Rolling Stone ! :o

And surely gathers no moss! Although the Rolloing stones are a bit faded around the edges, this is called erosion.

I heard Mick, Keith and Charlie all had special preservation treatments done to guarantee they will still be able to perform until at least the end of the century. Kinda like the ancient Egyptian mummification, except they remain alive (sort of). :o

You can not be on the wet spot and between a rock and a hard place at the same time.....its simply not possible.

Well, what if there is a puddle where Tippaporn peed himself between the rock and the hard place?

Not a chance, kayo. I wear the best . . . Tilley's waterproof and stain resistant underwear (a fine recommendation by Kerry). :D
