BBC radio app alternatives - iOS

BBC app has been terrible for the last month. Programs sometimes load, sometimes don't. Streaming radio same. Same issue on 2 devices. Have tried re-booting, re-installing etc etc.

Other options?

Please point me to the BBC News stream. (one that is not just the latest 5, 10 or 15 minute news bulletin on repeat). Am looking for the same news stream that comes from the 'live radio' button in the BBC app.

TuneIn Radio is the best app on my iPhone and it certainly does stream.

TuneIn is awesome. It streams and streams well even when the actual BBC stream doesn't work.

If you’re looking to listen live to BBC radio I can’t help as I never listen live.

Listening not live, I usually go to http://www.iplayerconverter.co.uk/choose_aod.aspx which lists the last 7 days of iplayer programmes, but usually I rip an mp3 to listen at my leisure using Get Iplayer (http://www.infradead.org/get_iplayer_win/get_iplayer_setup_latest.exe )

TuneIn always streams fine for me. I stream BBC radio 4 & 5 pretty regularly without issues.

I listen daily to bbc 6 music and I'm VERY happy with it.
