New Residence Requirement at Phuket Immig?

Featured Replies

Background....

Last week a colleague went to extend his annual stay based on marriage.

He was told that the attached "Registration form for the Owner of the residence" is now required to be completed by everyone.

(I have attached the doc. Hope its readable. I could not find anything about it in the website.)

Luckily his Thai wife was with him and he was able to complete the doc at the time. i.e. He is the renter of the Condo which is in his wife's name.

Questions....

I am on a Retirement Extension i.e. Type O-A.

Renting. On the last 2 occasions, I took nothing except copies of the passport pages. No forms. My 90 day report was completed by Immigration using the previous form stapled to the passport.

I always have a copy of my lease, but it was never asked for by them.

I have to do my 90 Day report soon.

Do I need to have my landlord complete this new "Registration form for the Owner of the residence" form to do my 90 day report?

Thanks for advice.post-56614-0-78953100-1415352751_thumb.j

Yes you will need your landlord to register you.

I Was at immigration this morning and there is no change to the 90 day reporting, only passport and copies are required!!

No mention of any form or registration by landlords etc!
