Thai Language Teacher

Featured Replies

Can anyone recommend Basic Thai Language Teacher for mature student? Preferably from personal experience.

I have been well looked after by a young lady who runs her own lessons from a small facility near Prasertland. She does small groups or one on one and is very good at adjusting to people. Her English is good, she is a CMU graduate and I enjoyed her as a teacher. If you contact me I will give younger contact details.

A.U.A level 1

When I first got to Thailand I registered there for there beginners class In my first week. I found my self in a group of 10 several of them had taken the course before and all of them had been here for at least a year. The course was basically teaching grammar in a language I could not speak. I will give them this they did not try to teach the different tones. I had to drop out after 2 weeks and they converted it into a lot shorter 1 on 1 course. I finally found a teacher to come to the home 1 on 1 and teach me both words and grammar at a speed I could handle. She also pushed the tones which because of my hearing are very hard to hear.

We went on holidays and she stopped teaching. Have considered taking another course. there is a school on the fourth floor of Pantip that sounded good to me. They can work with you on a separate course for your self or a group. I would choose separate for me only.
