Any readers got stuck with the suspension of development of PloenRimTai condo in MaeRim, Chiangmai?

Contacted legal for refund proceeding due to deceptive promotion.

If you want to share cost from group undertaking, do response with your contact details.

If anyone can offer how to address such matters ito taking on the developer - do advice

I know it's not very helpful but NEVER put up your money for someone else's dream on a photo or in a brochure. It may never get built and you may never see your money again.

very sorry to learn of this

i paid a visit to this project at least two yrs ago,and ever since have kept a very close eye on its stop and start progress

after my initial visit and thereafter, several red flags came up, which automatically gave me the wide berth nudge

my only advise is, i hope u have a very good contract

and a visit to the lands dept in mae rim may be a good start

I remember when I arrived in Mae Rim a few years ago seeing this condo project and even went and had a look at the showroom cum display of the possible condos. Opening sales pitch was that one would recieve a free spa pool.

Fortunately I looked passed all the hype and wasnt very impressed with their display unit as it wasnt really finished off very well. Not really a way to sell I though when your display unit isnt spic and span.

I do feel sorry for those who have been caught up in the prolonged saga of this project. Call me skeptical or over cautious....sometimes it pays to be.

In my own experience with real estate here, the only way is constant visits till they refund you

At times , the constant harassment from the client site almost always work as they want to close the case and move on

Do you have the marketing details of the mgr there ? Probably and normally a lady who manages it on behalf of the owner ...that's the one to keep calling and visiting every day if you have the time or find a proxy

Without being rude , I would say forget about putting faith in the thai legal system and it being fair and impartial and honoring the client sales agreement

This is few months back but I guess no progress since.

Just hope others will not be con into this project

taken two spins since the above post,and the condo is still a ghost site,but the sales office is still in operation but poorly looked after etc etc

i also referred back to my initial visit (oct 2012) where i have the oringinal project plan and prices

which comprised of 4 condo builds, plus villas,and a luxury hotel,indeed a very ambitous plan or dream would be more like it in my eyes

the hotel immediately gave me a red flag,hell there are 101 hotel/resorts in the immediate area,doing it tough in occupancy levels

also the entire project to be completed by 4/2014?????????????????another red flag

i could give another 5 red flags, but sure they will fall into the o/p list of failings

perhaps the o/p should give his a/c of his investment mishaps without mentioning anyones name,sure it will be of help to other off the plan investors
