Double Entry Tourist Visa

Featured Replies

Do they allow you a total of 60 days in country or up to 60 days and then a second stay of up 60 days with no regard for the length of the previous visit?

Also they state "The validity of visa is 3 months." Does this mean you have to leave Thailand by the date it expires or is it the last date on which you can enter the country?

Looking to spend as much of about 4 months in Thailand, also want to go to a couple of other places which could be done as one trip or two depending on what works best. Would there be issues with using a 60 days(single entry) in LOS followed by a couple of weeks away back on a 30 day visa, then second trip away and a further 30day visa?

Alternatively 60 days(single) in LOS one trip away and get a second 60 day visa while away?

Or is it better to do a visa on arrival and get the 60 day one for the later stay if they don't like giving two longer stay visa's in quick succession?

A 2 entry tourist visa would allow you a 60 day permit to stay that can be extended for 30 days at immigration for each entry.

You must use the 2nd entry before the visa expires (enter before date on visa). Depend upon on where you obtain a 2 entry visa it may have a 6 month validity period.

You can get a visa exempt entry after having the tourist visa without a problem. Unless you are from a G7 country you will only get a 15 day entry at a border crossing. Visa exempt entries can now be extended for 30 days at immigration.
