Nice new, well established radar trap 8 km south of Tak, headiing north.

No effort made to conceal the radar, it's just after a left hand bend and one km later is the check point.

I saw him as he got me and was able to throw the beer can out of the window before the stop.

125 on the freeway and their radar was very accurate.

Very polite, can even say amusing experience, parted with 400 baht and was given proper receipts.

I suggest that if stopped, do not try to offer less or under the table, they look pretty straight and serious to me.

When asked for my nationality I said Liverpool and was immediately asked if I knew Steve Gerrard.

All conducted by the RTP with good grace, good humour and I was fairly nicked doing 125 in a 90 limit.

Along with about 25% of the other vehicles.

Very nice little earner.

His close friend told me that he said he just posts here to 'wind people up.' In Internet forum language, that's called 'trolling.'

In real life, it's called bullying.

Twice today the car in front of me stopped abruptly for a traffic light changing to red, just as I was accelerating to jump the lights in the conventional manner.

Infuriating, they nearly caused an accident, had no thought or awareness of the car behind and I nearly spilled my beer.

Big checkpoint near my house on the middle ring road last night.

Got stopped at about 11:30, in my car.

Had had many drinks, was certainly over the limit but not quite paralytic.

All very polite and friendly.

I saw him as he got me and was able to throw the beer can out of the window before the stop.

Considering the trend of some of the OP's posts ^^, I'm stopping this topic before the 'windup' gets any further. smile.png
