beggars around the sukhumvit area

Featured Replies

I think there's a badly burnt guy that goes around the bars at nana, suk sois 1-10 where all the farang bars are located.

I also remember seeing one young mother with a child after the asoke intersection around suk soi 20 upwards.

Welcome to the third world.

So all of Europe is third world also.. beggars in Zurich, Berlin, Paris, Rome.. just to mention few..

I didn't say only third world countries have beggars. But if you go to one of these countries, you shouldn't be surprised to see more of them as you're probably used to.

Is it true that they have Beggars in other parts of Asia?

Even rich places like Singapore.

Beggars believe that does ... w00t.gif

Don't think I have seen a begger with leprosy on my travels in Europe. Or one with horrific skin diseases or burns.

Plenty of people get down on their luck....sometimes it's genuine and sometimes it just an easy lifestyle.

The overhead bridges around central world side to the superrich money changers have rows of beggars on the bridges.

The bridges leading from the BTS towards central world and siam paragon too.

There's a guy that begs on the London underground with horrific burn scars. Has no facial features left and only claws for hands. I have heard he was a tank driver in one of the gulf wars.

My friend, a sergeant in the British Transport Police, once arrested him for begging : "he won't get himself a job"..

On the Soi 24-26 Sukhumvit area you have crazy as hell Thai male beggar who likes to assault tourist. So be careful. He also kills pigeons in front of the park between Soi 22-24.
