Anybody with practical experience around CM who is willing to instruct us?

Payment can be in organic eggs and or vegetables. Next month we will also have organic Thai Jasmine and Burmese Paw San rice or you can can have 2013 rice when we planted sticky rice.

Let me know if you want to swap knowledge for clean food. You are also welcome to lend a hand during harvest while we wait for the cement to harden:)

Thanks

What do you want to build from ferrocement ?

Hello Pond Life,

My ducks have been complaining about the size of the pond and the water quality. So I want to build a a nice pond for them above groundlevel which will be easy to drain/clean.

PS. After this is I will raise the rent and they can either pay or leave.

Ferro is cool & folks use to make nice water catchment tanks from it where I lived.

But for ponds have you considered a heavy duty Butyl Rubber liner instead?

I have seen some very large more like a reservoir sizes as well as decorative smaller Koi ponds

with bottom drains & filtration systems done with it.

If above ground is a must a Doughboy type pool would work too

I built 4 water tanks (35 k lt, 50 k lt & 65 k lt) from this book, Water Storage by Art Ludwig.

You can get it thru Amazon & its worth every penny.

I cant remember how much info there was for ponds, but the basics are bound to be the same.

I had to do the palnning & supervising, but thai construction workers did all the labour & they turned out fine.
