Isp And Internet Speed On Samui

Featured Replies

Moving from BKK to Mae Nam area in October. Currently in BKK and have Hi-Speed (1,000kbps) service from TOT. Not always happy with the speed however and seldom get over 300k.

My question is: What is the situation on Samui on hi speed internet? Is there a choice of ISP's?

Is there a choice of speed packages available? Is the whole island equiped for hi speed or only the main towns? I have a dual core P4 desktop that I will bring and use it for streaming video and audio (webcasts) How's that reception on the Island? Can any ISP offer a consistant speed of at least 350K without going below that speed?

Appreciate any info anyone is willing to give to me, and thanks.
