Chiang Mai -> UK, need sim card info

Featured Replies

Flying into Heathrow and hoping to get a sim card for iPhone 5, 5c, and 6. What options are there for the short term--hoping there will be a kiosk in the terminal (arriving in Terminal 2).

Giff-gaff

You never seem to lose your number even if not used and you can either put money in or buy 'goodie bags' that are very good value for short term visits. You get £5 credit when first used - as does anyone who refers you (PM me if you want a referral!). Cost of calls and texts very competative.

Disadvantage - it is posted to your UK address!

Just happens that I have a spare Giffgaff sim if you want it. I live near Big C Don Jan if you want to come and collect it.

At Heathrow, sim cards were 20-30GBP a piece in vending machines, then I walked into WHSmith and they had some cheap ones for 99p.

Giff Gaff wasn't an option, but for a couple of weeks stay a sim card and 20GBP credit was fine.

You should have asked for one then. I have half a dozen...
