Its amazing any police would work in Bedford Stuyvesant. I remember it as a war zone although i havent been there in years. Driving through it would be doors locked and windows up.

This mayor is a nut imho. Thoses that dont follow nyc politics probably have no clue how whacked he is. I believe the police commissioner might resign which would be a loss to nyc.

It's difficult to know what part religion plays in this situation, but for Christians, when they kill, they go to hell. For Muslims, when they kill, they go to Paradise and get a harem-load of virgins. It probably makes it a little easier to justify it to yourself.

Baltimore County Police say they tried to warn NYPD Officers about threats made by a suspect before he killed two police officers.

At about 2:10 p.m., BCoPD made a phone call to the 70th precinct in New York, advising NYPD that the phone of a suspect wanted for a shooting in Owings Mills was pinging at a location in the 70th precinct. NYPD and BCoPD discussed the threatening Instagram posts during that phone call. Also around 2:10 p.m., BCoPD faxed a "wanted" poster to NYPD with information about the suspect, Brinsley.

Boots are taught that a stationary patrol car is a dangerous place to be. Most cops, once off probation, quickly begin too ignore this, and lots of other police survival techniques.

Eating, food and drinks in hand, never belongs in a parked radio car. Especially in a busy city.

On the subject of police officers being attacked, there was another incident on Saturday in France where a young man was shot dead in Tours after he attacked and wounded officers with a knife while shouting "Allahu Akbar”.

There was also another attack in Dijon on Sunday evening where a driver shouted 'God is Great' in Arabic as he drove his car into pedestrians.

Well of course they're worse...the White House is not currently a "white" house." As long as it was, the large number of racists in America were relatively quiet but the election of the first self-identified black man as President...well that just sent them over the top.

I await with unalloyed glee their reaction to the first woman and the first gay person as President. It may be enough to get the South to secede again and hopefully this time we'll let them.
