Christmas bicycle sale in Bangkok/ChiangMai

Featured Replies

I'm coming city for couple days for buying new/used road bike.
Thread very fast and simple. Just good 1-3 good places in city, and easy to reach.
Price 18-20 th. thb

Your remarks, please.

ProBike on the north end of Lumpini park, 5 minute walk from BTS station Silom.

Very nice selection, with lots of accessories. Pricing? So-so.

Hard to understand from o/p if it is Bangkok or Chiang Mai?? If former, I concur Probike is excellent service. They also have a branch of Rama 3 road. Should get something decent for 20,000THB.

I had very bad service from Probike, but good price.

In Bangkok there are tons of shops, I would recommend to visit a couple of them, write down the prices and compare.

I just came back from Big C shopping center.

Just watched a man buy a kid's bicycle for 950B (under $30 USD).

A bit small for me, I'm almost 2 meters tall, but if you're from southern Europe, it might almost be your size.

I'm currently renting a bicycle with basket, moto helmet and front light for 1000B a month.

And be sure to buy a red flashing rear light, for your own safety when travelling out at night. I paid 48B for a cheap one, but it didn't even last one day. Another one I paid 100B for, but it has an expensive watch battery, but it's good for a few months and works great...

950 baht: Probably a load of cr#p. If I was to put my kid on the road I would prefer something a bit better than that!
