Okay... The MICT has taken things wayyy too far.

They blocked one of the subdomains of Imageshack (160, I think)

Why would they do something like that? It's probably just a couple of pictures, not a fully-fledged pornsite. It is impossible to moderate, but instead of blovking the entire site hy didn't they like...

The issue with the current way censorship is being done now is that -in a typical Thai way- "good citizens" are encouraged to point finger at the bad sites (using a report link page) and that's probably the main source of information now. I very much suspect that the bunch of underpaid, brains-challenged slaves that have been hired at MICT to take a glance at these sites, click on the right button "block: yes/no" and send that to the people who have to manage the blacklist don't have the ability to do anything but watch whether there's any porn in there or not. Definitely they can't contact the hosting company (assuming the guys there would give a **** since "ordinary" porn probably isn't illegal where they are anyway). That would require English communication skills they probably don't have.
