manxninja
Serious questins after the tsunami hit, did it encourage a lot more Thais to learn to swim. I don't know many that can and it appears strange to me when your surrounded by water like I was when I was a child.
Felt 35
I think that to learn the general population to swim, obligatory swim lessons have to be held in each school and my impression is that very few Governments school have obligatory swimming on the schedule whereas the International schools and the schools with some International programs even have their own pools. My own experience as a regular swimmer trying many swimming pools both public and private is that there seems to be less regular swim training for children now than in previous years. But I can be wrong here, maybe the parents with children go to different pools than I do.
