OK, so actually if anyone doesn't want to read all the comments the short of it is that Sean is explaining away the injuries and suggesting he can get CCTV evidence and witness testimony to prove that what he is saying is true if he is legally required to, which seems quite a bold statement given the scarcity of CCTV footage and the lack of witnesses willing to speak up about anything. So in fact the only confirmation that the cuts happened days before the murders comes from Sean's friend Sven, but then Sean and Sven can't agree on what caused the cut that looks like a knife wound. Sven seems certain it was a knife wound whereas Sean is sticking to the motorbike accident story... Who to believe...? I'm thinking that as witnesses go they are looking a bit shaky, but you seem happy to accept that they must be correct about when the cuts happened. Uhmmm... Anyone for cherry-picking?

The part I enjoyed most though was when Sean reminded us that he is a die-hard conspiracy theorist and doesn't have much time for people who think the 2 Burmese lads are actually guilty:

I've found a relatively clear photo of David wearing what appears to be the same beige shorts which was taken earlier on the same holiday (this was published in one of the British newspapers - probably the Daily Mail). You will notice a mark/stain towards the bottom of the left inner leg which appears to match up with the shorts photographed on the beach. The stitching around the bottom of the legs is also the same. I therefore think the beige shorts photographed on the beach are definitely David's.

What I can't figure out are the "dark blue" shorts photographed at the crime scene. I thought at first that they were the beige ones turned inside out but there is just too much blue for that to be the case.

Whatever pathologist said that, should go out and find another job. At least half of David's stab wounds were to the side of his neck ....there are few bones in the neck (only vertebrae in the back). Neck is mostly muscle. Plus, the most likely weapon: a stubby sharp blade (just like the shark's tooth ring worn by one of the H's men, who should be a prime suspect) isn't going to penetrate more than about 2 or 3 cm. - just far enough to puncture a jugular vein. Cops and other wanna-be tough guys who hang at AC bar are the type of guys who would know the most vulnerable parts of the anatomy to puncture in a fight to the death.

If Sean was a true friend he would tell the truth! I believe Sean is a compulsive liar and is all for himself or he would speak up, he is scum and did not deserve to be David's friend. In my own opinion I still think Sean was part of what happened that night.

Despite all of this confusion about cuts and when they happened, I would like to reiterate that it's a crying shame Mon and "Big Ears" didn't actually go through with their intended threat. Sean doesn't have to be likeable - to be believable. There are low-lifes (farang, Thai and others) crawling all over every beach resort in southern Thailand. You want them all eliminated? There's a heinous crime which needs solving. Thai and Brit authorities aren't doing their jobs, so that's why us little people on social media are taking so much time and expending calories trying to shed light on who done it. Sean can help with that process. Thai officials don't want to find the real perps, so hopefully, with Sean's assistance, the real criminals will be apprehended, tried and sentenced. It's not a popularity contest, it's an endeavor to get the real baddies out of the public domain, and punished accordingly.
