Pattaya Green Villa Village

Hi,

I am considering to buy a house at the Green Villa Village located about 1.5 km on Soi Siam Country from the Sukhumvit. Anyone has experiences with that village, reliability of the owner, security etc.?

Thanks in advance for any comment.

I rented a house in Pattaya Green Ville last year.

Security is virtually non-existing. They let anyone in. Friends there told me they had a string of burglaries only a few months after we moved out. The old part down the end has a lot of Thai youths with motor bikes going up and down all times of day. Lots of soi dogs. 2-3 open-air Karaoke bars on Soi Siam Country club just outside the village. NOT recommended!!

Oh, and the houses with high ceiling seems so cool - but try to cool the place down, aircon makes little difference to that amount of space.

My mate lives on there, he's had no problems whatsoever and the maintenance and care of the place seems to be good.

Only thing i don't like about it is the location. :D

I think i'm confusing 2 villages with a similar name :o

There's a "Green Field Villas" a bit further out, on Soi Croc farm, now that's a completely different story. Maybe that's the one you're thinking about?

Hi Phil.

thanks for the helpful comment. Yes, this was my first impression too on security (although there are not many villages where security is 100 % reliable). Indeed we were looking for a home with a high ceiling and sure, this is a mess to cool down.

I think, we keep on searching. The good thing for Green Villa is the location, as it is the first village from Sukhumvit. Just now we are staying in the Maprachan area and this a bit far from the city for us.

Location, coming from a man who lives on Scumsville Pikey Site that's got prolly the worst burglary record in Patters and it's drainage system quite happily floods the whole estate with dirty water every time there's a light drizzle. :D

Welcome To Suksabai Villas! :o

Give me Mabprachan any day :D
