Client rings up, "IT I can't get through to Loxinfo 1222".

Me: Is the modem making noises?

Client: Yes and tells me incorrect user ID or password

Me: Hmmm, something wrong here... what number are you dialing?

Client: 053 938000

Me: Hmmm.. perhaps we can look at using the correct number..It's called 1222 because that's the number to dial.

Client: Oh., OK will try that and call back..

15 minutes later Ring ring

Client: "IT it makes a dial noise but then gives a network problem signal."

Me: Open the connect dialog. What happens when it dials?

Client: it dials 122 then nothing for about 9 seconds.. then network failure sound..

Me: add a 2. It's called 1222 because thats the number you need to call.

Client: Oh OK.. OMG It works. You are so cool.

Me: Don't call me again today.

Please note: The screaming and yelling would normally be considered quite rude, but it was OK after a while. He is a masochist.

Your a heartless chilli (phasa Thai word?). I bet he can bake a bread better than you IT...would you put it in the riser before or after the oven? :o

Rubbish. He rang me at 7 PM one night to ask how to make soup.
