Because the image upload must be a square I had to cut off a little on the left. The alternative would have been to add some borders top and bottom.

 

I hope you and everybody else can now see your new avatar next to your posts, the same as I see it.

 

With borders top and bottom, it would look like this.

 

 

I know there is a way to make these black borders transparent, but I don't know how. Can somebody help with this? It is the top 41 and the bottom 42 pixels.

Can make the borders White or Transparent to deliver the same effect.
