35mm Slide Viewer

Is it possible to buy a hand held 35mm slide viewer anywhere in Bangkok? I just need something cheap and basic so I can go through my hundreds of slides and select which ones I'll have scanned.

Try AV Camera or Big camera...Google for em first though.

Two years ago I saw some light boxes at AV camera along with

some decent loupes...that was two years ago mind you.

I havent seen a slide viewer in years so don't be surprised

if you can't find any available except to order.

You can buld a light box though, pretty easy.

Materials needed:

wood for the frame.

4 12" flourescent light fixtures (complete).

4 plug power strip to plug in the floro tube fixtures.

white plexiglass to fit size of frame you wanna make,

not clear plexiglass...white.

piece of plywood for the bottom of the light box & to

mount the floro tube fixtures to (fit your box size).

enough screws for bottom & top.

cordless drill to make holes in plexiglass & starting screw holes.

decent magnifying glass to view slides.

If you're tool savy it shoul take only a couple hours to assemble

after you get all the needed stuff.
