xtof2
Yesterday morning, a speeding Honda Jazz tried to overtake a truck and encroached into the opposite lane in Thailand. The car almost hit an incoming motorcycle. The driver then lost control of the vehicle but managed to avoid a major accident. The 21-second video clip was posted by Facebook user Nopmetal Core. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CaCDj0F8oN4 Edited January 22, 2015 by george added source

Popular Post Bocking
Sadly, I fear that upon seeing this video, the driver of the Jazz will be quite proud of him/herself. They'll probably see it as 'a demonstration of amazing skill' ''I'm not the best driver in the world' .... said no Thai ever
Popular Post Blackfish64
Yep, everyday life here on the Thai roads. No exceptions. smedly
because traffic law enforcement is near enough zero here, this crap will continue, as I mentioned on a recent motorbike thread - the biggest danger I see when out riding are cars that just pull out to overtake and expect everyone to move out of the way, I've even come round a bend and found a car and a bus on my side of the road - there is no way they could have seen round the corner - I have also seen some good driving here interesting list http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/782917-suspected-drunk-driver-in-fatal-road-crash-on-pattaya-beach/http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/777579-8-turkish-tourists-rescued-from-sinking-speed-boat-in-pattaya-bay/http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/777652-three-killed-30-injured-in-bus-pickup-crash-in-ayutthaya/#entry8691899http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/777671-another-no-barricades-railway-crossing-collision-leaves-two-dead-in-thai-south/?p=8692018#entry8692018http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/782704-bus-crash-kills-driver-injures-15-on-phetkasem-highway/http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/784155-five-chinese-tourists-severely-injured-in-phang-nga-bus-accident/http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/784139-russian-pedestrian-shot-by-police-as-they-chase-two-bag-snatchers-in-jomtien/http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/784740-bus-crash-in-surat-thani-province-injures-21-people-three-seriously/http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/784993-three-truck-pile-up-kills-driver;-43-hurt-in-bus-smash-in-thailand/http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/786005-13-rescued-after-phuket-cruise-boat-hits-rock/http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/786089-norwegian-tourist-fatally-injured-by-speed-boat-rotors-near-koh-tao/http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/787240-one-child-dies-25-injured-in-school-bus-crash-in-chiang-rai/http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/787670-indian-tourists-killed-in-van-crash-on-elevated-road-to-suvarnabhumi-airport/http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/787882-tour-bus-crashes-in-phuket-10-hurt/http://www.nationmultimedia.com/breakingnews/Three-Myanmar-killed-six-people-injured-in-van-cra-30251673.htmlhttp://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/792363-seven-people-killed-in-van-accident-in-songkhla/http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/793620-cement-truck-rams-into-phuket-food-shops/http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/793933-thats-the-way-they-drive-here/
Popular Post barky
Its a terrible shame that the offending driver in the overtaking car was not killed. As a result, he/she will now have another chance to kill some other innocent person.
Popular Post Just1Voice
And trying to pass in a clearly marked "No Passing Zone". glasswort
At least the white car was signaling its intention. Most drivers here (not only Thai)would make the manoeuvre without a signal. I trust that the person making the video was a passenger and not the driver!!! Hmmmm!!!!
