Does any know what the largest size dish is available here?

I was wondering if it's possible to get a 240cm dish?

I've believe one of my dishes is 240 cm. Hard to tell exactly, when it's up on the roof.

Where did you order it from?

If you can't order one, get one made.

They aren't that hi-tech. A local satellite shop should be able to advise you if they can't sell you a ready made one.

240 cm Ku Band (full metal dish and in offset shape), thats a hell of a piece!

Never seen on private grounds in Thailand.

And not sure whether seen anytime on a hotel/public building. Parabolic maybe, but not offset.

240 cm C band (black) mesh parabolic antenna is trivial (aka an "8 footer").

Available in the smallest of provincial towns.

A did a search through Thai language internet and the biggest I could find was a 160 cm second hand thing.

Would a sooper-dooper LNB be a more available option?

I've tried different LNB's. I'm currently running an Invacom which has showed the most improvement. The Inverto black was pretty good as well.

I also bought a high-end sat-tuner with spectrum analyser to get the dish set up as well as possible.

It's strange, early morning the HD channels don't work but as the day goes on they're fine.

And dish positioning exactly measured to the last 10th of a DB?

Unfortunately I could not find data for the "Malaysia" beam on Measat 3/3a out of the Malaiyan peninsula.

So can not judge on minimum dish size.

Just stumbled upon the fact, that a real fine (small holes) mesh antenna might work for Ku band?

but then you would need good internet and for many that is harder to find then a dish in Thailand.

Why the difference in signal quality between morning and later in the day. Are there usually thick clouds between your dish and the satellite in the morning?

I had a dish that was worthless when it rained and seemed to be bothered by wet clouds in the path too.
