I heard that it was a transformer which then caused an AC compressor to blow. But don't know if that is correct.

Just heard the same from Friends who were there, seems it was the transformer.

They do sound a bit bomb like when they go off

Three bombs....why in the world would you post something like that without verification?

I can vouch for this. Had one blow about 30m from my condo window a few years ago..

Holy sheet it was loud with a massive flash as well, I first thought it was a bomb.... Turns out it was a snake getting comfy and it all turned to sheet real quick for the snake.

Twitter went crazy for a while, with tweets about bombs, grenades and "the revolution". In the end, just another transformer.

So what caused the loud noise, the snake or the transformer?

Suspect this will be in Thaivisa News section soon.

Should be in the electric forum in this case whistling.gif

Many (unsubstantiated) reports on Twitter/Facebook are now suggesting it might not have been a transformer. Photos suggest otherwise. Maybe there is more to this,
