Internet Down Again?

Featured Replies

Didn anyone else just lose internet access?

Here in Pattaya from around 12 to 1pm today internet suddenly went to a trickle. Traceroutes seem to indicate a problem in Japan so I'm curious to know if it was:

- Local to Pattaya?

- Local to TT&T?

- Local to Maxnet?

It seemed to be a problem to any site (only US/Euro sites checked though).

I already have both TT&T and TOT lines to my house and am seriously considering adding ADSL with TOT to my TT&T/Maxnet line using the setup discussed here -- but I wonder if that would have helped in this situation.

(No, I'm not an Internet addict, but I want it to work when I need to use it :o)

had the same problem. i am so frustrated with the quality of broadband in thailand (my work depends on it) that i might consider moving to japan or somewhere instead.

:o You are not alone! My ADSL also went down today and I am located in Chiang Mai with a TT&T line using KSC as the provider. Yes, ADSL in Thailand sucks!
