Alcohol Sales (Makro anyway)

Featured Replies

If you have not noticed you now need to show a 'Alcohol Selling Permit' to purchase alcohol outside of the normal allowed times.

Speaking of alcohol, anyone tried the 5 litres of red wine they sell at makro for 6-700 baht ? Imported from South Africa and Chile I think.

OK during home meals as table wine. If you get guests however, you might change to a slightly better version.

Not OK as a bundle of joy on a nice evening while enjoying a good cigar with some light music in the background.

I like it, in fact they do an 8 litre box now for 1,200 baht. Can't argue with the value. The 5 litre boxes are 969 baht.
