HI

I am South Africa, my wife Thai and our daughter whom is now 13 was born in Bangkok.

My daughter carries both Thai and South African passport and have birh registration from both countries.

I will be going for a 1 month holiday from Thailand to South Africa and my daughter will travel with me.

I understand that to save myself allot of headache at the immigration i need to get a notarised travel letter of consent from my wife, which is not a problem.

My question is can this be done in Pattaya, Bangsaray or Sattahip, as i really dont want to travel all the way to Bangkok just for a consent letter.

If can be done locally where? and how much would it cost.

I hope the letter will be in Englisg so i can also use it when flying back from South Africa to Thailand after the holiday.

I will appreciate your help.

My wife and myself took her niece, 7 at the time on holiday to SA a few years ago and just got a letter written up in both English and Thai from the parents stating they had given permission for the child to travel with us, the letter named us, gave our PP numbers and copies of the parents Thai ID's

Never had any issues on either end

Did the same with our daughter who was 8 at the time traveling with me to the UK and back. Letter from wife giving permission, signed with a copy of her ID card also signed. No need for it to be notarized as far as I'm aware.

I typed it up on the computer and printed it off for her to sign.

Thank you very much @Soutpeel and @Pomthai for your input.

Thats what i will do than, i will draft a letter in both Thai & English and get my wife to sign it , attach copies of wife's Thai ID and Passport, house registration, mariage certificate and also daughter's birth certificate and carry that with me when i travel.

Thanks again for the help.
