Linking to a new website/forum on Thai Visa?

Recommended Posts

I received a PM from a Thai Visa "member" with a total of 0 posts to his credit asking me to join a new "community" website and providing a link to it or, for all I know, a link to some phishing operation.

I did hit "report" asking if this was some Thai Visa sanctioned solicitation, but didn't get any response so far to that.

It does seem there's a loophole in the set up if someone can join TV and then start sending out ads or invitations under the radar using PMs.

I haven't quoted the PM here since that would be a violation of forum rules and that would just make the invitation/advertisement visible to a wider audience.

Clicking on the Report button below the PM you received was the correct thing to do. Spamming and soliciting is against forum rules, and these rules apply equally to PMs. Looking into it and will contact you by PM.
