BANGKOK: -- Today on the internet, netizens are debating the nuances of moral relativism after some women got naked inside an airport bathroom and another woman took photos of them to share her unhappiness over the incident.

A Thai woman was shocked and upset by the presence of naked Chinese women inside a Don Mueang Airport bathroom that paused to take a photo and share online, an act that incensed people either toward her or the naked women.

Facebook page CSI LA published a photo of one of many naked Chinese on Friday who felt comfortable changing in the airport's ladies room without going into a stall, making the Thai women who used the bathroom feel awkward and prompting the day’s outburst of sinophobia.

"Chinese tourists are terrible!" said the anonymous poster.

Same thing happened here in Chiang Rai and the perp was a western man. Had to warn him as the lady cleaner frequently comes to the men's room. Furthermore, he was standing right in front of the door and had someone come in, would have treated the gym goers to the Full Monty.

Yeah, the hypocrisy of all that 'modesty' thing has really reached heights, and when Thai women would know a thing or two about the, real, history of their country, they would realise it was a repressive code imposed to women by a medieval conservatist elite of machos and some integrist, sex perturbated, monks.

Before that, women were indeed mostly not covering their breasts in Siam, nor in bordering Laos, Cambodia, Birma, and Bali f.i., in fact in many tropical Buddhist and Hinduist countries. The concept of shame and sin about this very old, and healthy, tradition, was introduced by the spreading Islam, later Christianity in the colonised countries (but as Siam/thailand is not a Muslim nor a colonised country...)

The sin is/was not in the women's, innocent, nudity, the sin is the lust in the eyes of sex-obsessed and depraved men!

And then to hear the scandalised outcry of the many adapted moralists and rancid bigots among women, like today in this non-event, oh my Buddha!

The thai lady was probably more shocked to see the china doll had bigger boobs so to save face she posted that pic in fb stating her horror and shock

I assume Chinese media runs stories about prudish Thai creepers taking photos in the restroom.

On the flip side of the coin, what's the deal with having female cleaners mopping the floor at your feet while you're taking a pee at a urinal in a Thai mall public toilet.

I mean, I don't mind sharing the toilet facilities with women in a gogo bar (the more the merrier). But I do take exception to the Thai equivalent of a middle aged housefrau sloshing her mop between my feet at Central Festival while I'm contemplating the meaning of life, the universe, and everything.

So don't look if it offends you. Same as standing next to somebody at the urinal and then claiming to being forced to look at male genitalia.

If something is free, the Chinese tourists will flock to use it. They are like backpackers on steroids.

I think the person TAKING the picture was certainly in the wrong. It's not as if it was on the street it was in the ladies toilet / washroom. She looks like she's doing exactly that!

sorry to say many not all chinese tourists are rude beyond belief, push and shove and to often act in a disgusting way with regard to hygiene, toilets and rest. Strange that those in west seem to not have same natures. Most here consider them scum much more than even low life forang.

My Chinese guests tonight have just washed their undies in the basin and hung them out to dry over the plants in my beautiful garden (they didn't want to use the clothes dryer/hangers outside their guest-room).

Since all the guests tonight are Chinese, I decided not to 'do a Basil', but to open a cold beer and retreat inside my room - I'll venture out after 2am when they've all gone to the airport....
