What to do when offence is caused?

Featured Replies

Hi all, I recently posted about great places to take your kids and had some ignoramus ask me if they are sexually active. I'm really not happy about it, several others in the thread were offended too. Of course I asked for the comment to be deleted which it was but there must be greater protection than that. As any father can tell you being asked such a question is very unpleasant and I have felt hurt by it. How far can someone go before action can be taken?

When a post offends me I click on the report button below the post, write why I find it offensive and leave it at that. It seems you did the same, you took action and the post got deleted. In my opinion, you did the right thing.

You would have to hope a poster writing filth such as that would be banned.
