March 10, 201511 yr I have a couple of skin tag under the arm pits that kind of annoy me for a few years already. Today I went to visit my dentist at a nearby hospital so I asked the reception desk which service I should visit to remove them. They advised me to make appointment with the surgery department. I'm a bit surprised, I thought a dermatologist would be more appropriate. Has anybody experience of this kind of medical operations ?
March 10, 201511 yr Cosmetic surgery dept usually does that sort of thing. Don't know where you are but, CM RAM will remove up to 6 assorted lumps and bumps for around 3kbht. Skin tags are easy, just a quick zap with an electrical device. Larger chunks get cut out then zapped. All very quick and painless, no bleeding. Walk in and done there and then.

March 10, 201511 yr Is this like a little piece of skin that grows Yes. I've had some removed in the past, some by electrocauterization and a couple surgically removed (sliced off) and cauterized after. That was by dermatologists. I had some done in the US and that may have been a general surgeon or practitioner but too long to remember.
March 10, 201511 yr I have one under my arm and it's been there for years, always wondered what it was. Thank you all! It's painless so I'll have a think about it.
March 10, 201511 yr Information on skin tags for those interested. Medlineplus Treatment is often not needed. Your doctor may recommend treatment if the skin tag is irritating, or you don't like how it looks. Treatment may include: Surgery to remove it Freezing it (cryotherapy) Burning it off (cauterization)
March 26, 201510 yr Author Went to Chaophya Hospital today to visit a relative. When I arrived I noticed in the hall a promotion for a similar package as CM RAM (post#2), up to 6 skin tags removed by CO2 laser for 2,500 Bahts. One hour later I was chatting with my relative with all these annoying tags gone.
