Just book a room for .2 and not a single room. She will just have to show her ID card when she arrives.

all the police ??wow you must know a lot of coppers

Go to hotelscombined and have a look. Theres sure to be a decent 3-4 star hotel away from the riff raff and farang kee noks

I don't think they are at all funny about Thais staying in that area anymore, not since the 90s!

not sure if if he is

but my understanding is that place, where cops hung out, was torn down to build a new hotel that has several others in the area

and THAT company did NOT allow thai gals

crikey

thanks for the help

Just book a room for .2 and not a single room. She will just have to show her ID card when she arrives.

400 baht a night with air, best deal in the area at the time.

Did you ever see the short time rooms downstairs!!!!!!! (mirrors and stuff)

One time i caught a small group of uniformed cops standing in a circle passing around a joint in the courtyard!!!

They tried to hide it and pretend they weren't when they saw me see them.

Never seen anything like that in my life!

Goddess bless Thailand.

So, you want to take your Thai gf to KSR?

I'm sure you're a good person but come on mate, she's your gf. Treat her to somewhere decent & avoid the KSR unless you're thinking of splitting up and if then recommend the cheapest hovel you can find with no air con or hot water.

Has you gf ever mention the saying 'cheap charlie'?

take her to KSR to look and then take her to a nice place to stay......

one good thing will be after she sees the people at KSR you will probably look like a very good catch !

Stayed at buddy hotel new year, nothing wrong with that, boss pool on the roof and a gym on the third floor, well worth a look.

and for what Ive been hearing it is far from cheap now days anyway

ok i was spending more time looking for a place then we will be in it

so ive gone for a Sawasdee i dont like those places to much

they remind me of mcdonalds ,shit but you know what you are geting

i hope they still ant got those yellow walls they used to have

sukpasat had, maybe still has, another hotel up samsen road a bit

basically same thing and a similar name

low budget a bit grimy but cheap and ok

i never stayed there

maybe the police moved there hang out there too

Juice

Will your GF be staying with you each night or will you be changing her nightly whistling.gif

walk from ksr to Samsen road soi 6.

Nakorn pink hotel is clean.

Many others also.

Get drunk at ksr but dont sleep with the dirty backpackeds there !

Rambuttri Village Inn at the start of Soi Rambuttri is (or at least was 3-4 years) ago a great budget hotel. 600B a night got you a spotless room with all mod cons that was cleaned and restocked with water, toilet roll, soap etc every day.

2 swimming pools too, both nice and big. Not noisy like KSR is either.

According to agoda that's 900-1100baht now for doubles

Of all places in BKK, I never made it to KSR

I was advised to stay clear of tourists while w Thai girls

I did frequent many places that were seemingly Thai only or just unknown for white people and always found warm friendly people there

I did notice a lot of Thais openly smoking weed at their outdoor tables in a number of places/which was interesting as no one tried to hide it

plenty of $5 rooms down there actually, if you dont mind a shared bathroom and bunking with 10 others. maybe you can get a yearly lease on that.
