Where to get insurance that will really cover your costs

Featured Replies

Can somebody recommend me an insurance that is really good in case something happens so you have to stay in hospital?

I dont want to get some insurance than they will cover only 10 % like I have heard from before

Any ideas?

There are many policies, both Thai issued and international. Among Thai policies, stick to companies that specialize in health insurance, and avoid the life insurance ones and policies issued by banks, in both cases these are often very limited in coverage.

In any case need to research carefully and read the details. Even the same company will offer different insurance packages with different levels of coverage.

AMong the Thai insurers the big ones are BUPA and AXA.

You need at least 2 million baht per episode coverage. Outpatient cover is usually not worth it.
