TUNA

Featured Replies

Just saw trick advertising in Safeways supermarket, normlay i shop Coles so this took my breath away, in a large prominent display Safeway had on sale for the low price of $2 John West Tuna...95g....that might be a few cents off, Coles about 4 times a year sell JW Tuna for $1 a can, ive noticed a few things like this over the years where something is a sale item...lifting the sale tagg the original price underneath is excatly the same...

Footnote....sale items in normal supermarket shelves have the original price removed these days.

so they are not really lying just sort of covering it up ?

Coles sell JW Tuna for there normal price of $2, its possible even in the current supermarket wars that Safeway sell the Tuna for a few cents more.

You can make of it what you like i think its a dirty underhanded trick, but you know....there are people shopping and the moment the see a sales tagg they assum there making a REAL saving without thinking grap 10 cans like i do when its 1 buck.
