Comedy is hard for me to define.

Live stand-up, short skits, full length movies..

My first recollection would be "The 2 Ronnies"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oaGpaj2nHIo

I guess longer clips like "The Goodies" were next.

Followed by "Mr Bean" or "Blackadder"

And then Monty Python skits and films like "Life of Brian".

I really don't get into stand-up comedy with all the swearing. Not that I am offended, just find it boring.

2 that I enjoy at times (in small doses) are "Adam Hills" and "Jimeoin"

These days I get a good belly-roll from a Michael Palin or Billy Connoly documentary.

Blaster Bates

A raconteur more than a comedian.

I saw Blaster Bates live on two occasions and I can honestly say I have never ever laughed so much at anyone as I did him before or since seeing and listening to him.

A sample clip is below.

Neverdie.

Visually you are mine.

Mentally MRTOAD is my favourite comedian. Class act. Most of it's not appropriate for the pages of tvf but he features regularly in clawed tiger industries monthly rag.....which by the way has nothing to do with vaginas, well......that's not exactly right but again not fit for the digital pages of tvf.

He came and blew up the old swimming pool at my school in Sandbach.

Great storyteller, I have 3 or 4 33 Vinyls of him.

I'll always remember the naming of "Knicker Brook"!
