Last trip out here my wife was issued a a visa with a validity period of 10 years and has already returned to Thailand. If we want her to return again does she need to get a new USA visa or can she enter and leave as many times as she likes for that 10 years of visa validity?

Most likely with that duration its multiple entry (M). Look at the visa, it will have either a 1 or S (single) or an M (multi) in the spot for Entries.

I'll move this to the appropriate forum.

It is likely that the visa is multi entry so good for a number of entries through its validity, it should say MULTI, or something to that effect on the visa.

Your wife still has to satisfy the Immigration Officer at the border that she's a genuine visitor, each time, before she's actually admitted, the visa only gets her to the border, but it's normally not an issue.

As everyone has stated.

Just have a well thought out plan, itinerary whrn you go back. Stack of papers with tickets and vouchers, letter from work to guarantee job. We never have needed any of these but do bting yhem slong with our marriage license.

IMO too much coming and gojng might be an issue, but a month or two a year should be fine. Even 2x as long as shes with you.

An annual extension or visa for you is best for return as well as showing US your intent to return together.

We have had zero issues - knock wood. Three trips (two unmarried, one married) and one coming up in a few weeks.

Question about these 10 yr travel visas,,,,,,,when they admit them into the USA, what is the duration allowed per each visit? Meaning, are they granted 90 days each time, 6 months?

I know they are multi entries,,,,but curious about the duration of each visit?

Thanks Andy......

a6patch.....thanks also. I kinda knew that, my comma in between 90 days and 6 months was supposed to mean "or". I didn't think anyone was going to take me to English class for grammar on this thread.
