The best Internet service is the one that actually reaches you.

Have you tried contacting 3BB, AIS, TOT, True, CAT or the other local ISP to see if it's *possible* to deliver actual Internet service to you over Copper, Fiber or Point-to-Point Wireless Radio (e.g.: AIS AirNet, TOT WiNet, etc.)? This would be preferable long-term to using Mobile Internet.

Subscribing to Mobile Internet is a costly alternative, but may turn out to be your only option. If you are in a poor 3G/4G/LTE service area then you'll want to invest in equipment that allow you to connect high-gain external antennas to either a pocket WiFi device or, better still, a 3G/4G 'ready' modem/router/WiFi device (most will have a USB port and internal firmware that can be used with an external 3G/4G USB AirCard / Stick.

You'll need to ask the most local mobile shops or other active mobile Internet users in your area what mobile operators are active and actually working THERE (your general location). AIS, DTAC, TOT3G, TrueMove-H are the main Mobile Operators with towers located all over Thailand. You need to find out which actually have a tower with signal strong enough to point an external antenna at.
