Well err november the fith i always buy roman candles and the wife or was it somebody elses wife always wore a toga so it was easier to get her neekid.

The Romans brought indoor plumbing to the England and a whole lot more...sorry guys but there were more advanced humans roaming the planet before you guy's could build a boat and set sail.

Some examples of things that Romans introduced to Britain that are still in use today:

Architecture, Art Literature, Language (Latin),

Sanitation (sewage), Aqueducts, Education , Irrigation ( water supply), The calendar, Coins ,Cement and bricks, Public heated baths ,Turnips and carrots ,Paved streets and pavements, Apples, pears and grapes, Benefits (free food) for poor citizens, Roads , Wine, Cats, Stinging nettles , Towns, Glass, Street Cleaners, Shops, Laws, Tenement Blocks, Public order, Firemen and Police , Parks, Cabbages & peas, Public libraries, Public notices and advertisements

whistling.gif Hadrian's Wall. The Romans had it built to keep the scots out of what later became England. If it wasn't there you'd all be Scots now.

Whether that would be good or bad is still a matter of debate.

I think if I'd been born Scottish I'd be proud of it. I've always admired and liked the Scots. I wouldn't vote for the Scottish National Socialist Party, though.
