Yes Nana Plaza is alot closer that is if your staying in bangkok? Don't remember the exact time to Pattaya. I been there years ago and going by bus I slept most of the way

Midway between Bangkok and Pattaya. Should be half the time, mind you depends on traffic.

Hey don't worry about how long it will to get to those "sh!thouses" I am sure they will have toilets in the new airport !!!!!!!!!!!

It will all depend on the time of day, how long you have to wait for a bus/taxi/whatever.

The new Airport is located just outside of town on the highway to Pattaya. As a bus trip from Ekkamai to Pattaya is usually a bit over 2 hours, the same trip from the new airport should be at least half an hour faster.

The trip into lower Sukhumvit should take anywhere from half an hour to an hour and a half - depending on the time of day.

Recently done this trip.

our offices in bkk are based in latkrabang ( v close to the new airport)

From pattaya to this point was just over an hour.. and from the airport to nana 1 45 mins!

Last week in light traffic it took me one and a half hours to get into Terminal from Pattaya.

When all new road works are done on Motorway 7 4/6 lanes all way should be much faster.

Not true. Read some of the later posts. I've done it in a private car during non-commute hours. 30-40 minutes to Silom and 1-1/2 hours to Pattaya. Still major construction delays to Pattaya but it will be nice and faster when completed.
