Why are there no fat cows in Thailand?
Perhaps it is a lack of nutrients in the grass or soil. -

Trump's crackdown on LA protests is pure hypocrisy
At least ABC isn't stupid enough to say, "Fiery but peaceful protests." -

Are you happy with your life in Thailand?
Facts can be flawed due to various reasons, including decontextualization and cherry-picking. Decontextualizing a fact means presenting it without necessary context, leading to potential misunderstandings of its significance. For example, a study's findings might seem important and impressive without knowing the methods used or the limitations of the observations.3 Cherry-picking involves focusing on certain facts while ignoring others, creating a skewed perception of the whole picture. This can happen when several related facts are presented alone, giving a partial view of the subject.3 Additionally, fact-checking itself can be flawed. Different frames or questions posed during fact-checking can lead to different conclusions. For instance, in a fact-check involving Dan Crenshaw's statement about asylum seekers, PolitiFact rated it as false based on one definition of "valid," while Crenshaw used a different definition based on the outcomes of immigration court decisions.2 Furthermore, people's biases can influence how they perceive facts. Research shows that when confronted with facts they disagree with, individuals often do not change their perceptions and may even become more entrenched in their beliefs.4 Lastly, the term "fact" can be ambiguous. Something initially considered a fact can be proven incorrect in the future, as seen in historical shifts in scientific understanding, such as the explanation of gravity. -

No man is an island. If you stand within an anechoic chamber, you would not be able to do so for long without going mad. People are telling @fredwiggy what they perceive from his posts, but he refuses to believe them. Instead he prefers what he sees in his own reflection. I'll leave this discussion as it's best he takes time to absorb what is being written, rather than his trying to deflect everything. Other than to state that I am very happy and grateful for life in Thailand. Nothing is perfect, but it's up to me to make the best of it. -
