I remember last year it was not possible to proof australian income via consul yet, has anything changed this time? Do I need to go to BKK to confirm my 40kbt/mo income for non-o extension?

Australian Consular Services from Bangkok does an 'outreach programme' to Phuket every two or three months at the Australian Phuket Consul's office on Bypass Road.

Statutory Declarations of Income have a six month use-by-date with Thai Immigration so you have a least two chances to get this done without going to Bangkok.

Not sure if the new Phuket Consul has the same arrangement with Phuket Immigration as Larry Cunningham had.
