Justice Minister hands PM list of civil servants suspected of corruption

Featured Replies

"Should further investigations confirm their wrongdoing" I thought they were wrongdoers already! Why is the government tap dancing on the issue?

There is an absolute lack of seriousness when it comes to tackling this issue. Lip service only. An occasional arrest and a rare conviction. If Thailand had one the tenth the level of seriousness about corruption that many of its neighbors have (Burma, and Cambodia excluded, of course) the problem would get solved. Until they start handing out 10, 20, and 30 year sentences, and an occasional life sentence or execution, nobody will take them seriously.

You really want to tackle this problem. Show us you are man enough to really do what needs to be done. Otherwise, it is just yackity, yak, yak.
