Magnesium supplement has made a huge difference in my sleep cycle. Before supplementing, I'd wake up 2X, at least, for a P, or for no reason, within a 6 hr or less time period. Now, 400mg daily (3X 133mg ~8hr apart), and I get 6 - 8 hrs of peaceful sleep. I take the Citrate version, which also helps with constipation, and do not have any diarrhea issues, as common side effect for some.
