Car bursts into flames, noone injured

PHUKET: It took firefighters just a few minutes to put out a blaze that had engulfed a black Honda Accord on Saturday afternoon (April 25) on Chaofa Road in Wichit area.

Mechanics at a nearby shop had been working on the vehicle's engine system as per the owner's request.

Police said that four of the mechanics took the car out for a test drive and after coming back to the shop, it was parked outside where it burst into flames.

Firefighters from Kathu Municipality along with Kusoldharm Foundation rescue workers put out the fire though the damage was done.

Police are now investigating what exactly caused the fire.

As the incident didn't involve the shop but was a fire in the car why would you expect to see the shop or the mechanics pictured? Maybe it was opposite the car, maybe it was out of shot?
