Hope all benefit from USA shareholder enterprises and enjoy each day here in the Land of Lannahot.

So happy today. My big wall fan grinded to a halt and died. In my tiny room with no fan, the air gets way too hot too fast. Show and tell lovely housekeepers the derelict fan. Not 12 mins later a brand new Toshiba pops up at my door. Quiet and powerful too. Very nice in CM.

Did well on the US stock market, lives in a tiny room with a fan. Sounds like Bernie Madof.

Actually he could be like (senior moment) the second richest man in the states. Lives in the same house drives himself to work. Got it Warren Buffet not sure of the spelling.

On the other hand he may be a day trader and singing a different song tomorrow. That is an up and down business.

Oh I love a nice Bull-Market too. The whole game only start's to suck, if one has to ride-out a 2 year Bear-Market or one of those re-occurring crashes. Not 10 fans in a small room will be able to blow away the agony, especially not, if the retirement is dependent solely on an ever rising stock market.

Cheers.

I believe Ted Turner when he flys only flys in economy and often uses Southwest. He always seems like a smart fella too.

Why anyone lives up there eludes me.

The American stock market isn't booming. It's chugging along. I own investments that throw off income every month. I'm happy with 7% and that's about what I've been getting. Booming? No.

Your income investments throwing off 7%----7% of what? Cost? MV?

On TVF your investments can be making as much as you want them to. wink.png

Not a rich man but one with enough.

As my holdings in UK have told me over last 40 odd years shares/markets go up and down like puying's nickers.
