watching video ,eye test, BUT also he was told to go to Police Station

and have his fingerprints taken, and they would phone him later when

he could collect the license.anyone else know more?

If true, I can't imagine that the cops will be any too happy having this work thrust upon them

Soon be having CCTV cameras outside every house.

No doubt about it, new requirement for sure. Each time you renew you have to be fingerprinted. But only if you are Thai, British or Australian.

My kid renewed his Thai 5-Year DL this morning in Thoeng, Chiang Rai.

No requirement for finger prints.

While it may be a new thing, it hasn't yet been implemented in Chiang Rai as of this morning.

What documents are required to renew 5 year license in Samui.

I have a non B, Work Permit, license expires in April, 2016.

Can I renew it now?

Changed from 1yr to 5 yr Thursday at CNX.

No fingerprint,eye test etc!

Arrived 8am, left 3pm!!!!!
