Have them dress conservatively in muslim zones. No big deal.

If someone asks about orientation or gender act like you don't understand.

Take it you have never been in the ME and tried to book a woman into a hotel who aint your wife.

Will the marriage license be available, translated into Arabic of course, will both the surnames in the passports be the same.

Will an iquama be available?

The above is assuming of course a visa is issued in the first place.

Thought I'd seen it all, but then this thread. Jeez.

I won't be stopping in any Middle East state any time soon and never have previously and that's without a ladyboy in tow. Just not something I want to experience and will happily leave to others.

Our cultural outlook just isn't compatible and never will be.

This thread has to be wind up, surely.

Yes I agree,,,Why dont they take a trip to the Hemorrhoids. I believe it is very popular this time of the year. They are even doing package tours.

People are piling up to get there.

My advice is, avoid any of the Arab, Indian and African countries and Eastern Europe.

The western world claims to be tolerant and the lands of the free, but in fact those societies are still deeply engrained with racism and homophobia, your ladyboy friend maybe subject to prejudice in certain areas.

Countries that are more liberal and accepting of transgenders are Israel, most of the south east Asian countries and probably Holland and most of the Scandinavian countries who are also quite liberal.

Regardless to popular belief, the world is not everybody`s oyster. Very sad, but true. Those who take on someone who is considered a minority or different, have to also share in their uphill struggles for rights and the extreme prejudices against them. Perhaps attitudes will change in the future, but I doubt whether this will happen in my lifetime.

Indian countries? huh.png

nowhere in any Middle Eastern country i was asked to provide a marriage certificate. i also have no idea why a tourist would be asked to show an iqama (residence permit).

but basically you are right... avoid any Middle Eastern country when travelling with a partner who is a trans-gender.

People are so ignorant about Islam its unbelievable.

Islam allows you to change your sex if you feel like a woman, it just prohibits homosexuality.

For example in Turkey a ladyboy can legally change his gender with a valid report from a psychiatrist. After the sex change operation, the government will issue you a new id, it will write Mrs on it instead of Mr smile.png

You will have all the rights of a women, even the right to get married.

Saudi Arabia follows a messed up version of Islam called wahabism while rest of the world follows a much milder version. Turkey and Malaysia are great examples of countries who follow the milder version of Islam, government will not discriminate you for being trans/ladyboy or whatever. In Turkey there are transexuals who hold official government jobs.

For example in Turkey a ladyboy can legally change his gender with a valid report from a psychiatrist. After the sex change operation, the government will issue you a new id, it will write Mrs on it instead of Mr

Iran same same.

Avoid India, groping capital of the world, applies to both male and female visitors,i remember arriving there in 1990,i was 25 or so,and had an earing, the first thing the immigration official did was point to the earing, and said, "beware the men', i laughed it off,but in the taxi quickly removed it,so a typical ladyboy will be in all sorts of strife, then again she may like the attention.

I was asking about Dubai and Abu Dhabi, not about some village with few people

Why we don't take trip to Hemorrhoids?

Because we want to say thank you to Thaksin, for how he helped Isaan and bring him Tom yum soup.

There's many ladyboys who visited Dubai, maybe none of them is kwaj thuj, but they still have Mr in passport.

For exmple girls from Miss Tiffany ... All have many photos from Dubai on their Instagram.

Any of the middle eastern countries will accept you..

I would start off with Iran and see how it goes and then try Syria.

Yes almost the same.

One bonus is you can have more then 1 ladyboy wife. Which was perfect for me as I travelled with 3 so I didn't have to have the same hotdog every night.

Enjoy your trip op.

I thought freaks who travel to Syria are interested in 9 years old girls.

and, by the way, who eats freaking hot dogs, besides cowards? Real man needs real food so, stick with healthy diet. Banana and 2 kiwi fruits is great way to start a new day.

Just back from holiday in Thailand and I came so close to shagging a ladyboy.

Looked like a lady, walked like a lady, talked like a lady, kissed like a lady!

It was only when she drove me back to her place and reversed her car into a space first time I thought "hang on....."

Transvestite or crossdresser is the word you are looking for as opposed to transgender or transsexual which encompasses lady boys.

In short, a transsexual wears clothes of the opposite sex because those clothes are associated with the gender they identify with whereas a crossdresser wears clothes of the opposite sex because those clothes are associated with the opposite gender.

Don't feel bad though it confuses a lot of people who don't travel and are handicapped by limited educations and experiences.

Just curious...if your ladyboy looks 99 percent like a lady...what is that 1 percent he is lacking?

Personally, I prefer a 100 percent look....in which case, I would just go with a lady.

(Not saying I am against the ladyboy thing...up to you)

Might not be lacking. Might have extra equipment. Maybe?

You have missed the unique chance to experience real femininity.

Depends if you are speaking English or Chavenese*. You might start being civil by respecting the person's self-identity and using the same terms and pronouns that the person uses to describe themselves.

*Language spoken by Chavs.
