Proof of Life - Dutch child living in Thailand

Featured Replies

Hi guys

I'm about to register my 4 month old baby to the Dutch municipality. Baby stays in Thailand for now. I already have the translated and stamped birth certificate here in The Netherlands.

They want me to provide proof my baby is alive right now to complete registration.

How?

Thanks for reading and your support.

Might sound obvious, but I'm guessing the municipality want to see the baby in the flesh. How many other ways are there?

Probably best to ask them what they require.

Maybe a video showing the baby and a very recent newspaper showing date might be of use.

Thanks.

I asked and I can register the baby here in The Netherlands while it resides in Thailand. In my case this would be very handy..

So I've nothing solid to work with. I'll inquire what they need. I still want to learn from someone who already did that.
