I first thought it was a smiley, but when I took out my magnifying glass, the only thing I could see was OIF44D.

Makes no sense to me in any way, but it keeps coming up in posts frequently.

Anyone can explain to me?

Well I'm on Windows 7 Ulimate X64 and I can't see them, and actually I don't think I miss anything.

The reason I didn't post in forum support is because I don't think it's forum software related.

Not necessesary missing something, just an encoding problem in the browser.

I have an Android smartphone and sometimes see Chinese characters on German language websites.

Likely they should show up as some symbol.
