Where can I buy Cloudy Ammonia in Pattaya?

Featured Replies

I basically want to use it as a dog deterrent, they hate the smell. It's commonly available as a cleaning agent in Australia and it may be on the shelves here but I've never seen it.

After a little research it appears that Cloudy Ammonia is unheard of in Thailand and not available as a cleaning product.

I've never heard of Cloudy Ammonia, but I have bought Ammonia at some drug stores to use for cleaning.

Pretty common product in the West.

Maybe in Oz or the UK... In the US it was called "Household Ammonia" or "Ammonia". It was sold as plain (clear), lemon-scented (yellow), or pine-scented (green).

I looked it up and Wikipedia says:

Household ammonia is dilute ammonium hydroxide, which is also an ingredient of numerous other cleaning agents, including many window cleaning formulas. In addition to use as an ingredient in cleansers with other cleansing ingredients, ammonium hydroxide in water is also sold as a cleaning agent by itself, usually labeled as simply "ammonia". It may be sold plain, lemon-scented (and typically colored yellow), or pine-scented (green).Commonly available ammonia that has had soap added to it is known as "Cloudy ammonia".

Non the less... it isn't available in Thailand and neither is Household Ammonia. Could be because of the temperature here in Thailand.

Go to a drug store and buy a bottle of Ammonium Hydroxide. Dilute it down and add your own soap to it.

Not worth arguing about.
