Amazing view even in light pollution soaked Chiang Mai last night.

Any good pics?

I have noticed these every evening above Doi Suthip. Nice to see a video explaing it all. Looks like june 19, 20 are the days to pick your three numbers for the lottery.

I'll be out with my tripod in CM hoping the clouds behave. Bet Doi Inthanon would be a great place to be. Also, there are some observatories open to the public for viewing specifically Nakhon Ratchasima and Chachoengsao on the 20th. Suspect CM also.

They are the two brightest objects in the night sky in Bangkok, you won't have trouble seeing them.

Not a brilliant photo. Venus is at the bottom . Jupiter is at the top and the feint speck near it is probably Ganymede, Jupiters biggest moon. This is a hand held photo with my elbows on a wall doing my best to be steady with the camera set on "auto". The camera has a 50x optical zoom. I might try some pics over the next few days with the camera resting on something and use the self timer so its totally wobble free or as much as possible. They planets had sunk behind Doi Suthip by about 21:00 ish
